Inkwell Modern Handmade Boutique & Letterpress Studio Inc. (Inkwell) prices do not include sales taxes or other charges, if applicable. All Canadian orders will be taxed according to your provincial tax rate, which will be calculated at time of checkout. No tax is applied to international orders; however, you may be liable for payment of import duties, taxes and fees when the items arrive in your country.
SHIPPING
Inkwell will calculate the shipping cost of your item(s) at the time of checkout and you will have an opportunity to review your shipping cost before finalizing your purchase. The shipping cost will be based on the weight of your order, the destination and the shipping method used.
Please allow 1-3 days for us to process and ship your order.
LOCAL (Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada)
Local Pickup - If you're in the Halifax area you can shop online and save on shipping fees by picking up your order curbside or in-store. You'll select the local pick up option at checkout and it's free! Note: At this time, accelerated checkouts (Apple Pay, Shop Pay and PayPal express) do not provide this option at checkout.
Local Delivery - Delivery rates range from $8.49-$24.49 and the postal codes serviced are:

CANADA
Free Shipping is available for orders over $150 (after any discount is applied, but before tax).
We ship most orders via Canada Post. Tracking is included on all Expedited Parcel, XpressPost and Priority orders. Tracking is also provided if you reach our free shipping tier.
Normal delivery within Canada is 2-7 business days, depending on your location. Please note that during the Covid-19 pandemic, shipping providers are not guaranteeing their quoted delivery times.
INTERNATIONAL
We also ship worldwide, which may take 2-5 weeks. We ship your items via Canada Post. Greeting cards and other small, low value orders are shipped with no tracking. Shipping options will be provided at checkout. Some options provide tracking. Please note that during the Covid-19 pandemic, shipping providers are not guaranteeing their quoted delivery times.
Inkwell will package and label your shipment to the highest standard. We are not responsible for shipping delays, undelivered packages, or the payment of any export charges, import duties, taxes and fees.

Artist Statement:
Coming from a multiracial and indigenous CHamoru perspective, creating art about nature and loving the place I live is more than business alone. It connects to the sacredness of the land that my ancestors protected and fought for, and to my own experiences growing up exploring the outdoors in the Pacific Northwest. Yardia's values are based in the spirit of inafa'maolek--to make good and strive for harmony. And I hope to share that spirit with you through my art. I'm proud to have built Yardia into the full-time, woman-of-colour owned business it is today, and that I can support myself through my art. Every decision I make for my business is crafted with intention and love for the work and for folks like you.
