South Shore Sea Salt is a mother, daughter and son small business located in Hubbards, Nova Scotia. In early 2018, Rebecca experimented with producing sea salt, and went on to sell her delicious salts at the local Farmers’ Market. By the end of that first sold-out season, it was clear this product was a hit! She invited her mom Marsha and brother, Andrew to join in on the fun, and South Shore Sea Salt was established as an independent small business.
In their purpose-built Saltcote, they produce salts from April to November, using traditional, zero-waste methods that require a great deal of time and care.
