Inkwell Modern Handmade Boutique & Letterpress Studio Inc. (Inkwell) prices do not include sales taxes or other charges, if applicable. All Canadian orders will be taxed according to your provincial tax rate, which will be calculated at time of checkout. No tax is applied to international orders; however, you may be liable for payment of import duties, taxes and fees when the items arrive in your country.
SHIPPING
Inkwell will calculate the shipping cost of your item(s) at the time of checkout and you will have an opportunity to review your shipping cost before finalizing your purchase. The shipping cost will be based on the weight of your order, the destination and the shipping method used.
Please allow 1-3 days for us to process and ship your order.
LOCAL (Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada)
Local Pickup - If you're in the Halifax area you can shop online and save on shipping fees by picking up your order curbside or in-store. You'll select the local pick up option at checkout and it's free! Note: At this time, accelerated checkouts (Apple Pay, Shop Pay and PayPal express) do not provide this option at checkout.

CANADA
Free Shipping is available for orders over $150 (after any discount is applied, but before tax).
We ship most orders via Canada Post. Tracking is included on all Expedited Parcel, XpressPost and Priority orders. Tracking is also provided if you reach our free shipping tier.
Normal delivery within Canada is 2-7 business days, depending on your location. Please note that during the Covid-19 pandemic, shipping providers are not guaranteeing their quoted delivery times.
INTERNATIONAL
We also ship worldwide, which may take 2-5 weeks. We ship your items via Canada Post. Greeting cards and other small, low value orders are shipped with no tracking. Shipping options will be provided at checkout. Some options provide tracking. Please note that during the Covid-19 pandemic, shipping providers are not guaranteeing their quoted delivery times.
Inkwell will package and label your shipment to the highest standard. We are not responsible for shipping delays, undelivered packages, or the payment of any export charges, import duties, taxes and fees.

Wooden wicks are eco-friendly and made from fruit trees that are sourced from Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) certified mills. They are vegan & GMO free! Wooden wicks are proven to burn longer than traditional cotton wicks, give a wider fragrance throw, & are toxin & phthalate free.
Wooden wick candles also produce a crackling sound when burning, similar to that of a campfire or fireplace, and produce a generally more calming & relaxing ambiance.
Soy wax is made from soybeans, a renewable and natural source. It is biodegradable and water-soluble and gives off a longer lasting scent that lingers in your home. Soy wax is clean burning & non-toxic, perfect for those with allergies to other scented candles.
FIRST BURN: On the first burn of your new candle, let your candle burn for 3-4 hours until the melted wax has completely covered the top lay of the candle. Do not burn for more than 4 hours at a time. Let wax cool before lighting again.
SAFETY: Keep your wick trimmed to 0.25” (wicks come pre-trimmed for first use). Keep candle at least 3 feet away from anything flammable, and only burn on a stable and heat-resistant surface. Never leave your candle burning unattended. Keep out of reach of pets and children. Candle jar may be hot after extinguishing, handle only when wax has fully cooled.
Based in Sydney, NS, Molly Williams started Lucy Lux Candle Company in 2021. Everything is handmade/poured by Molly in very small batches. So much love and care goes into every single candle.
The name Lucy Lux is in memory of her dog, Lucy. Keeping her name and memory helps her keep Lucy close to her heart.
