Inkwell Modern Handmade Boutique & Letterpress Studio Inc. (Inkwell) prices do not include sales taxes or other charges, if applicable. All Canadian orders will be taxed according to your provincial tax rate, which will be calculated at time of checkout. No tax is applied to international orders; however, you may be liable for payment of import duties, taxes and fees when the items arrive in your country.

Delivery dates are based on estimates from our shipping vendors and delivery times can vary depending on location, weather and other factors. Our online store will continue to be open and shipping orders all season and beyond!
Inkwell will calculate the shipping cost of your item(s) at the time of checkout and you will have an opportunity to review your shipping cost before finalizing your purchase. The shipping cost will be based on the weight of your order, the destination and the shipping method used.

Local Pickup - If you're in the Halifax area you can shop online and save on shipping fees by picking up your order curbside or in-store. You'll select the local pick up option at checkout and it's free!

Free Shipping is available for orders over $150 (after any discount is applied, but before tax).* Some exceptions apply and will be noted on the product listing.
We ship most orders via Canada Post. Tracking is included on all Expedited Parcel, XpressPost and Priority orders. Tracking is also provided if you reach our free shipping tier.
Normal delivery within Canada is 2-7 business days, depending on your location. Please note that during the Covid-19 pandemic, shipping providers are not guaranteeing their quoted delivery times.
INTERNATIONAL
We also ship worldwide, which may take 2-5 weeks. We ship your items via Canada Post. Greeting cards and other small, low value orders are shipped with no tracking. Once found on the streets of Halifax, streetcar tracks are now buried under pavement. Occasionally they resurface when winter exposes hints of history through dreaded potholes. One of the original forms of public transportation in many cities, the last streetcar rode down Barrington in March of 1949. In its heyday, Halifax had 11 streetcar routes. The Barrington Street route ran 1 car every 60 seconds in 1939!

Inkwell Originals is the in-house studio of Inkwell, a modern handmade boutique & letterpress studio in downtown Halifax. Graphic designers Andrea Rahal and Daniel MacDonald create art prints, greeting cards, postcards, stationery and drink coasters inspired by the ocean, coastline, Nova Scotia and the people of Halifax. Antique letterpresses create these tactile products. The cast-iron presses are hand-powered and the paper is fed by hand. The end result is a charming and tactile impression in the paper.
