Inkwell Modern Handmade Boutique & Letterpress Studio Inc. (Inkwell) prices do not include sales taxes or other charges, if applicable. All Canadian orders will be taxed according to your provincial tax rate, which will be calculated at time of checkout. No tax is applied to international orders; however, you may be liable for payment of import duties, taxes and fees when the items arrive in your country.
SHIPPING
Inkwell will calculate the shipping cost of your item(s) at the time of checkout and you will have an opportunity to review your shipping cost before finalizing your purchase. The shipping cost will be based on the weight of your order, the destination and the shipping method used.
Please allow 1-3 days for us to process and ship your order.
LOCAL (Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada)
Local Pickup - If you're in the Halifax area you can shop online and save on shipping fees by picking up your order curbside or in-store. You'll select the local pick up option at checkout and it's free! Note: At this time, accelerated checkouts (Apple Pay, Shop Pay and PayPal express) do not provide this option at checkout.

CANADA
Free Shipping is available for orders over $150 (after any discount is applied, but before tax).
We ship most orders via Canada Post. Tracking is included on all Expedited Parcel, XpressPost and Priority orders. Tracking is also provided if you reach our free shipping tier.
Normal delivery within Canada is 2-7 business days, depending on your location. Please note that during the Covid-19 pandemic, shipping providers are not guaranteeing their quoted delivery times.
INTERNATIONAL
We also ship worldwide, which may take 2-5 weeks. We ship your items via Canada Post. Greeting cards and other small, low value orders are shipped with no tracking. Shipping options will be provided at checkout. Some options provide tracking. Please note that during the Covid-19 pandemic, shipping providers are not guaranteeing their quoted delivery times.
Inkwell will package and label your shipment to the highest standard. We are not responsible for shipping delays, undelivered packages, or the payment of any export charges, import duties, taxes and fees.

Founded by Amy Scott, Laughing Pear wants to add a little luxury to your everyday with their soap and bath products. When Amy set out to make her bar soap, she has three goals: to produce a quality bar, to keep out harsh chemicals, and to make it easy on the wallet.
Laughing Pear soap is made from a base of coconut, palm, and soy oils, following a proprietary recipe that has been on the market for over 40 years. They produce a long-lasting, high-lather bar that is free of the harsh chemicals found in many commercial soaps and body washes. Each bar is handmade with care in Upper Sackville, Nova Scotia.
