Boss Dotty is a stationery and gift company celebrating the everyday, with fingers crossed. Our playfully illustrated products — inspired by resilient women, perpetual daydreamers and cautious optimists — are designed and packaged by hand in a former bakery in Williamsburg, Brooklyn with lots of love and attention to detail. Theresa Berens is the designer, illustrator, shipper, warehouse manager and reluctant bookkeeper behind Boss Dotty, a labour of love that would not be possible without pop-in help from a wildly supportive band of family and friends in Brooklyn and Nebraska. Her creative, independent and resilient grandmother Dorothy is Boss Dotty’s namesake.

LOCAL PICKUP - If you're located in the Halifax, Nova Scotia area you can shop online and save on shipping fees by picking up your order in-store. You'll select the free local pickup option at checkout.
Local pickup orders are often ready within 2 hours. Orders made after 5pm (AST) or on days closed will be ready after 12pm (AST) the next business day and you will receive an email confirmation with pickup instructions when it is ready.

Inkwell will calculate the shipping cost of your item(s) at checkout and you will have an opportunity to review your shipping cost before finalizing your purchase. The shipping cost will be based on the weight of your order, the destination and the shipping method used.
Inkwell will package and label your shipment to the highest standard. We are not responsible for shipping delays, undelivered packages, or the payment of any export charges, import duties, taxes and fees.

SHIPPING WITHIN CANADA
Free Shipping is available for orders over $150 within Canada (after any discount is applied, but before tax). Some exceptions apply and will be noted on the individual product listing.
We ship most orders via UPS, Fed Ex or Canada Post. Tracking is included on all Expedited Parcel, XpressPost and Priority orders. Tracking is also provided if you reach our free shipping tier.
