Based out of her studio in Dallas, TX, Kat is the illustrator and designer behind the positively fun paper goods at Kat French Design. What began as a freelance graphic design business in 2009 made a hard turn into the world of greeting cards when Kat wanted to combine the desire to create oddly fun illustrations along with her knack for witty one liners.
Outside of designing, the rest of Kat's time consists of being a mom to two kids... and then the tiniest bit of time left from that (we're talking 27 minutes a day here, people) might include watching a 90's rom-com, playing bass, or searching for the best tortilla chips and refried beans in Texas.
LOCAL PICKUP & DELIVERY
LOCAL PICKUP - If you're located in the Halifax, Nova Scotia area you can shop online and save on shipping fees by picking up your order in-store. You'll select the free local pickup option at checkout.
Local pickup orders are often ready within 2 hours. Orders made after 5pm (AST) or on days closed will be ready after 12pm (AST) the next business day and you will receive an email confirmation with pickup instructions when it is ready.

Local delivery orders made by 10am (AST) will often be available for same day delivery. SHIPPING INFO
Inkwell will calculate the shipping cost of your item(s) at checkout and you will have an opportunity to review your shipping cost before finalizing your purchase. The shipping cost will be based on the weight of your order, the destination and the shipping method used.
Inkwell will package and label your shipment to the highest standard. We are not responsible for shipping delays, undelivered packages, or the payment of any export charges, import duties, taxes and fees.

SHIPPING WITHIN CANADA
Free Shipping is available for orders over $150 within Canada (after any discount is applied, but before tax). Some exceptions apply and will be noted on the individual product listing.
We ship most orders via UPS, Fed Ex or Canada Post. Tracking is included on all Expedited Parcel, XpressPost and Priority orders. Tracking is also provided if you reach our free shipping tier.
