Originally from Taipei, Taiwan and now based in Halifax, Joyce Ortiz is the creative brain and working hands behind Graceful Soaps. By day, Joyce homeschool's her four children and by night, she immerses herself in the art and science of soap-making.
What started as a mental escape, quickly evolved into a passion for artistic expression. Joyce finds satisfaction in turning sketches and mathematical calculations into tangible, luxurious soaps. Her recipe has been tested and tweaked to achieve non-drying, cleansing and nourishing properties to preserve the skin's natural oils, by using the best quality ingredients.
Joyce's soaps are meticulously handcrafted, each one beginning with a unique blend of fragrances. She draw my inspiration from nature, the ocean, and the plants and flowers around her home in Nova Scotia.

LOCAL PICKUP - If you're located in the Halifax, Nova Scotia area you can shop online and save on shipping fees by picking up your order in-store. You'll select the free local pickup option at checkout.
Local pickup orders are often ready within 2 hours. Orders made after 5pm (AST) or on days closed will be ready after 12pm (AST) the next business day and you will receive an email confirmation with pickup instructions when it is ready.
