When water is added, the scrub transforms into a light milky lotion that rinses away cleanly without a greasy feel.

Made with nourishing shea butter, safflower oil, and castor oil to help condition and soften the skin, plus gentle cleansing ingredients for a clean, silky finish. Scented with basil, Persian lime, bergamot and refreshing spearmint for a mojito inspired aroma, naturally.

Sugar scrubs are often too liquid oily or too crumbly and dry. Verv formulated this to be right in the middle, a scoopable, spreadable paste that emulsifies and turns creamy when it meets water.

The business started with soap. While living in South Korea and China, Ali couldn't find natural skincare, so she learned to make her own and began selling at artisan markets in Beijing. After returning to Canada in 2019, she launched Verv Skin and grew the range. She now adjusts each formula, sometimes a dozen times, until it's just right.
