The Bear Forces would use enlistment pieces like Canada’s New Navy to encourage the war effort.

A homage to Canada’s rich military history—representing the three primary divisions that make up our armed forces: infantry, navy and air force.

Drawn in the style of classic WW2 propaganda posters, the series explores how bears have taken advantage of our focus on the war overseas as an opportunity to stage an occupation. Comprised of three individual prints, they depict the cultural evolution of our country as bears begin to take over Canada.
