Formulated with lightweight, linoleic-acid–rich oils like cucumber, passionfruit, and açai, Cloud Balm replenishes essential nutrients while helping to ease inflammation and reduce moisture loss. The balm’s natural green hue and fresh, tropical scent come straight from the vibrant plant oils—no added fragrance, no essential oils.

This formula received a slight update March 2026 to enhance stability and shelf life. It is no longe vegan (contains beeswax). Jasmine wax has been removed for a completely fragrance-free formula (naturally occurring scent from cucumber and passionfruit seed oils only). Hemp and raspberry oils have been replaced with meadowfoam, jojoba, and cranberry oils for improved stability and shelf-life.

This versatile balm is oil-based and therefore should be the last step in your skincare routine. Simply apply to clean damp skin after cleansing or as the last step in a multi-step routine:

This product is anhydrous (oil-based) and thus does not require a preservative so the introduction of water can cause rancidity. Please only use clean, dry fingers to scoop out the cloud balm.

9 Months Shelf Life. Verv cloud balm is slightly whipped and will melt in hot weather or direct sunlight. Store your cloud balm in a cool and dark space. If melting occurs it only affects the texture, not the efficacy, of the product.

Verv Skin makes gentle, natural skincare from nutrient-dense, unrefined oils and homegrown botanicals. Everything is formulated, grown, and hand-labeled in Ali’s home studio in Nova Scotia's Annapolis Valley.

The business started with soap. While living in South Korea and China, Ali couldn't find natural skincare, so she learned to make her own and began selling at artisan markets in Beijing. After returning to Canada in 2019, she launched Verv Skin and grew the range. She now adjusts each formula, sometimes a dozen times, until it's just right.
