In 2012, Trevor and Charleen Edis were disappointed they could not find souvenirs that were made locally that they could send to family that were away. There was space in the market for gifts that were made in Canada, by Canadians that represented the culture and life in the region. They had noticed this lack of local products in the market as they traveled across Canada. They started to design and craft small gifts.
Blue Crab Creative Designs are created in house, and each one has a story. Canadians are proud of their heritage, and we are proud to depict our heritage in the products we design. Some of their family have lived on Cape Breton island for thousands of years, and they are proud of their Acadian, French and Mi’kmaw roots.

LOCAL PICKUP - If you're located in the Halifax, Nova Scotia area you can shop online and save on shipping fees by picking up your order in-store. You'll select the free local pickup option at checkout.
Local pickup orders are often ready within 2 hours. Orders made after 5pm (AST) or on days closed will be ready after 12pm (AST) the next business day and you will receive an email confirmation with pickup instructions when it is ready.
